Smashbooks
anyone into making smashbooks? I just heard the term and viewed some vidoes on youtube and thought it looks like great fun, and something my 18yr old dd in college would love to do and lo and behold not a week ago she had bought some journals and started creating these without hearing the term from me!!!

so i may give it a go even though its a bit more random than my usual comfort zone LOL

Haha... I made 2 of them 2 days ago.. one was the 2x2 when it was finished and the other was 4x4... I love the larger size.. and so much fun to make.. I just need to decorate it and post it. It was alot of fun to make.

I made something with that idea in mind using small compo books from the bins at Mike's. I'll have to take photos and share with you.

i thought i'd pick up a few journal books at the $ store when i was in town this week and after hunting everywhere (like 5 stores) finally found a couple coiled ones the right size.......i'm thinking there must be lots of people doing this style of scrapping fun because I have never seen the shelves soo empty of hardcover notebooks!!

COrry I thought you were talking about the little folded mini books.. duh!! Now I know what you are talking about..
the K& Company one is CUTE.. I think I am going to put some together with my bind it all.. I have tons of papers that I am not using and this might be a fun way of using them and putting my favourite things inspiration items in it.
Great Idea.. maybe I should start a group?? so we can share.

hehe, yes the K and co ones are cute but i'm just using what i have on hand..(which is more than adequate for hundreds of them ) ..........and i should also make my own with the bind it all really, no excuse LOL.
