Starting a scrapbooking/stamping store

Good morning everyone,

I'm hoping I can pick some brains for insight and advice.  My girlfriend and I are very seriously considering opening a store, as we have nothing local (less than a 45 min drive) and we are both very passionate about papercrafting.  I actually introduced her to it last fall when she came to a workshop I hosted to learn how to make your own Christmas cards, and she's really jumped in with both feet.  There was a scrapbook store here years back, but it closed, and we're thinking of catering to card makers & scrapbookers.  I'm nervous and scared but also really excited as I think it would be extremely fufilling to work at something I absolutely love. 

Is there anyone out there who has done this or can provide me with some advise? It would be greatly appreciated.
