Permalink Reply by Lisa Wallace on March 26, 2011 at 11:25am Yes, it does get easier. I love Ning sites, they tend to be more user friendly.
I became an Ippity Chick in Nov. 2010, and am just now getting really serious.
What I have done so far is: my blog "Get Hippity with Ippity" inventory is up-to-date, I have two groups on two other Ning sites, a challenge blog "Get Hippity with Ippity and Join the Unity Community", and a 2 member design team. I will definitely keep you posted on my progress. We will have our first challenge beginning on Monday, Apr. 4.
I just hope I am not being too overly confident. But I do realize that it will be slow at first.
Glad I am here and everyone have a great weekend!
I need some major advice on how to get my ippity business off the ground. This is my first time at selling anything and I have no idea what I am doing! LOL!
Just wanted to invite everyone to my first challenge. You can read all about it here and see what the design team has come up with.
Also, I have started a Flickr group, Get Hippity with Ippity, to showcase Ippity and Unity creations. Come join that too.
Hope to see you there!

I am hoping more girls will find their way in here and give advice and selling tips to help you all out. If you want to invite any of the chicks to the group go ahead!!
Aletha.. Simply Scrapping Crafts I was on the Dt for a year.. Ijust love Judy and the girls.
You are not alone. I am just getting started also. What I have done so far is create a challenge blog with a two member design team. I have also started groups on Simply Scrapping Crafts and The Latte Lounge. This seemed the best route for me. I am disabled (oxygen 24/7) so it's hard for me to participate in festivals. I used to do around 8 a year until I got sick in 2009. Don't know if this helps any, but I will definitely keep everyone posted if any of this helps sells.

Hello ladies.....I just joined My Unity Place and am excited to be more in touch with everyone. I have been super busy with school fundraising, work, and life in general not to mention my Ippity card classes really taking off. I had 12 women at my class last month! I can't say that I am making a ton of money off of sales (about $150 mo.) but I am doing very well between classes, supplies, and selling cards I have made. At least I am able to support my crafting addiction and then some! I would be more than happy to share my ideas for my classes here and will try to post some pics of them soon.
